We organized a hackathon for the Volkswagen Group Italia's management, with the goal of developing innovative projects and solutions for the challenges of the future.
Hackathon is a neologism formed by the fusion of hacker and marathon, and indicates a 24-hour full immersion event inspired by tech startups and Design Thinking, where participants have to put their creativity and resourcefulness to the test.
In July 1028, 80 managers from Volkswagen Group Italia, divided into teams, worked together to develop innovative projects for their company, ranging from new mobility services to the brand positioning in Italy, to new concepts of customer proximity and business culture. 24 hours of brainstormings, discussions and ideas that ended in a final "battle" with a jury who chose the best solutions for each challenge.
The winning ideas, selected at the end of the hackathon, are being evaluated internally to define their potential implementation.
