We collaborate with Pfizer to create a Healthcare Hub that combines digital culture, training and research. The 3 selected startups presented their solutions on October 17-18.
In order to develop cutting-edge solutions for healthcare, Pfizer is always looking for high-quality partners. Precisely for this reason we started to collaborate, with the aim of addressing the new needs of the healthcare system by establishing an Open Innovation project and scouting the most innovative ideas in this sector.
After evaluating over 150 startups from all over the world according to some specific areas of interest identified by Pfizer, last July six finalists were invited to present their solutions. Among these, 3 startups (two Italians and one Belgian) were selected and pitched their projects to the group's top management to start possible technological or industrial collaborations, supported by our Open Innovation team.
The 3 startups are: FibriCheck, a medically certified screening and monitoring app on prescription for the detection of irregular heart rhythms; Farmosa, a software for error management and performance improvement in patient therapies; Carepy, an app that connects pharmacists, doctors, patients and family members in order to improve the adherence to therapy and facilitate the access to medicines.
