20 years of support for startups Our commitment to startups and entrepreneurship has been part of our DNA since our inception in 2005. In our first 10 years, we invested €28 million in 128 startups, achieving a return of over €40 million by 2023. In our journey, we have brought to life many startups that in some cases have become international success stories, like Depop, born here in 2012 and becoming the second Italian unicorn startup in 2021. Today, we continue to play an active role in growing the European entrepreneurial and startup ecosystem, collaborating with large companies in search of innovation – such as Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, with whom we launched FuturED, the acceleration program on artificial intelligence in EduTech – and with networks of organizations, accelerators, and companies that create and innovate with startups, including Morrow.
