Among our initiatives to nurture entrepreneurship is Storming Pizza, our event format, born in 2011, that gives visibility to the next generation of entrepreneurs and creates networking opportunities with experts and anyone who wants to create and seize new opportunities – over a pizza.🍕 Depop, Italy's second unicorn, was born right out of a Storming Pizza! On February 7, we met the 6 startups selected for the Winter edition of the Pre-Accelerator, the program developed by our Startup Center to help H-FARM College students turn ideas into entrepreneurial projects. Projects Etrash (the winner 🏆), an AI-based system that improves the management of waste separation for both users and companies, through a data analysis platform and a smart bin equipped with sensors and a machine learning system that recognizes waste and directs it to the correct compartments; FOCUSA, an AI-based web platform that offers personalized and automatically generated content to make learning more engaging and effective, through snippets, quizzes, and an optimized UI/UX interface; Planto, an AI-based solution that simplifies the relationship between nurseries and consumers: through a website and chatbot, it helps people take care of plants and nurseries to optimize sales; Zampify, an AI-based platform to make the adoption and buying and selling of pets more transparent and with easy and safe shipments; Trybe, a solution that allows individuals, organizations, and communities to collaborate to solve environmental and social problems, quickly, affordably, and without unnecessary bureaucracy; Advokee, a tool for those involved in advocacy marketing, which reaches and retains new customers and turns them into "advocates," encouraging them to advertise on behalf of brands.
