FutureShots
17 July 2018
On September 7-8, 2018 we organize a two-day festival to take a peek on the future, while looking at the past.
Not the usual tech conference: FutureShots is a festival dedicated to explore the future and the various opportunities that the digital world is creating. We will discuss about fashion, design, artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, architecture, food, career opportunities and new sales channels in two days full of activities and conferences for companies, professionals and the public.

We will approach the themes of gaming and e-sports – estimated to reach $2.3 billion in 2022 (SuperData report) – with spekaers such as Luca Pagano, co-founder and CEO of QLASH and Mattia "Lonewolf" Guarracino, professional FIFA player for UC Sampdoria. We will also play the final round of a Hearthstone tournament organized with the QLASH team.

Another session will be focused on the new frontiers of food and architecture, together with Marcio Barradas, young entrepreneur who opened the world's first 3D printing restaurant, and Massimiliano Locatelli, co-founder of CLS Architetti and designer of a 3D printed house for the Milan Design Week 2018.

Aurélie Salvaire, founder of The A Factor and Shiftbalance, will speak about gender equity and social innovation. The web influencer Cristina Fogazzi (Estetista Cinica) and the director of the Italian fact-checking organization Pagella Politica Giovanni Zagni will also intervene. We will also explore how innovation is transforming music with Amedeo Lombardi, founder of the renowned Home Festival.

During the event there will be an arcade area with new and retro games and a pop-up market organized by Depop, the most famous app for vintage clothes and accessories in the world. A group of Depop's sellers will also talk about how they transformed their passions into a career.
