After taking part in our Internet of Things Accelerator with Deutsche Bank, the agritech startup is raising funds to improve its solution and scale it.
Agroop, startup who developed multiple tech solutions to collect data for the agritech sector, is looking for €200.000 in exchange for 9% in equity. In just a few days, it has already raised over 70% of the investment sought.
Humanity is facing one of the biggest challenges in its history: the world population is growing – it has been projected that in 2050 the total number of inhabitants on our planet will be 9 billion. Agriculture not only has to produce more food and fibre, but also has to adopt more sustainable methods and adapt to climate change. This is why Agroop is using technology to face these issues, by working on precision farming tools that allow to produce more food, more efficiently, using less natural resources.
