Students at BigRock, our digital arts school, reimagined the traditional “cofano,” a symbol of the Venice lagoon for generations.Torqeedo, the German company Yamaha acquired in 2024 and now uses to build its electric boat motors, asked them to design the vessel with sustainability in mind:a PETG hull, 100% recyclable3D printedsolar panels to power the batteryThe winning project will be announced on Graduation Day, BigRock’s diploma ceremony, on July 29, 2026.What’s next? Building a prototype to dock at our marina in Portegrandi.
