Who generates generative AI? | H-FARM

#AInsights is our journey through the mind-bending potential and applications of AI.

Prompt engineers design prompts that tell Large Language Models what to do. They are the masterminds teaching ChatGPT, Bard, or Llama Chat how to write a love letter, translate a language, or create Picasso-style art. Training a Large Language Model to meet the specific needs of a company is a complex process that involves multiple phases, starting from defining prompts and setting parameters to the model how creative or accurate it should be. Then there is fine-tuning, that involves transferring information into the model's knowledge base and customizing it for the organization. A blend of logic, coding, creativity Prompt engineering combines elements of logic, coding, art and special modifiers that describe the prompt's weight, style, perspective, layout, or other desired response attributes. While most Generative AI tools handle natural language prompts, the same prompt may produce very different results across different services and tools.

But what do they do and how do they prepare for this role? Essential skills include solid understanding of AI natural language processing machine learning coding data science linguistics creativity adaptability and continuous learning ethics and responsible AI Effective prompts for effective results Creating prompts is one of many skills that engineers must have to design and instruct AI applications, and is a crucial one to maximize the capabilities of tools. It also plays a pivotal role in identifying and preventing prompt injection attacks where malicious actors attempt to exploit the logic of generative AI services. What do you think, will prompt engineering enable anyone to create AI models with just a few well-crafted prompts?
