is the Italian edition of Kinnernet, a unique 3-day event by invitation only created in 2003 by Yossi Vardi
, one of the leading Israeli innovators. Today, Kinnernet attracts the most renowned entrepreneurs, artists, scientists and technology experts of the world. In 2017 we hosted 200 guests from all over the world
, with speakers such as Jens Riegelsberger (UX Director at Google), Renaud Visage (co-founder of Eventbrite), Sridhar Iyengar (co-founder of Misfit Wearables), Claudia De Antoni (Head of Investments at Virgin), David Hanson (founder of Hanson Robotics).
This year, we are honored to have participants such as Dirk Schart (Head of Marketing & VR Tech at Hyperloop Global), Angeliki Kapoglou (researcher at European Space Agency), Markku Makelainen (Director of Global Operator Partnerships at Facebook), Hector Ouilhet (Head of Design for Search and Assistant at Google), Amandine Roche (human right lawyer), Ben Stahl (Head of Engineering, Creators at SoundCloud and former Director of Engineering at Vimeo), Marie Wall (Startup Director at the Swedish Ministry of Enterprise and Innovation), Riccardo Sabatini (neuroscientist and AI expert) and many more.
Kinnernet is structured as an "(un)conference”, an event format where all the participants give their contribution, by collaborating in the different sessions planned, encouraging discussion, interaction and creativity among the attendees. What makes this format unique is its spontaneous and open approach to innovation, that allows to analyze different subjects from multiple angles (technology, music, science, art). Guests are involved in interactive lectures and workshops and also take part in off-site activities to discover our territory and our traditions.
