BigRock represents a state-of-the-art reality in the 3D animation scenario in Europe and trains hundreds of new computer graphics students every year.
Many former BigRockers, today they work for the most important film production companies like Pixar, DreamWorks and Paramount and their names appear in the credits of some recent great movies.
To enrol in the school, no specific training is required. You must be over 18 years of age.
The educational programme includes three main master, whose duration varies from three to six months, five days a week, eight hours a day.
- Master in computer graphics: it is the core business of BigRock. An intensive course of 900 hours of lessons, lasting 6 months, focused on the whole process of a computer graphics production.The master's program includes a complete training, a trip to London to discover the major filmmakers, the creation of a final short film, a collective project projected to the cinema during the award ceremony.
- Master in VR (virtual reality): It ranges from the foundations of 3D modeling to the development of scenes, models and animations in Unity and Unreal Engine 3D environments. It deals with the themes of virtual reality, for the application of virtual elements within real and usable sets through devices and innovative devices.
- Master in Concept Art: A three-month master that starts from the basics of digital painting and reaches, for various degrees, the environment and character design, without neglecting the aspects of compositing and post-production.
At the end of the courses, the 10 most promising students are recruited by the school for the production of activities commissioned by external customers. This team led by a highly experienced technical team of supervisor is called the Red Department.Discover more
