This full-time three-year degree programme is conducted in English by Ca’ Foscari University of Venice in partnership with us, and is the first in Italy dedicated to Digital Management. Our course aims to educate a selected group of highly-motivated students in the new skills that today’s businesses are looking to successfully integrate into their processes and products. This course allows students to study in close contact with the businesses being incubated in H-FARM, using innovative didactic methodology that has already been successfully trialled in past years at Ca’ Foscari’s Management Department, sharing the startup projects within our network and developing new entrepreneurial activities.
The Bachelor's Degree in Digital Management provides the necessary skills for leveraging the opportunities and changes that the current digital transformation has brought to the economics and management sectors. This degree course guides students on a path towards becoming dynamic and innovative individuals who are able to smartly utilize innovation in order to become the next generation of business executives that will be able to re-think and revolutionize professional and economic systems.
In the first year of the course, the aim is to build knowledge of business management principles: accounting and budgeting techniques, microeconomic theory for businesses, mathematical and statistical methods required for the digital transformation and the legal basis of the digital economy.
The focus of the second year of the course is on technical and operational skills, both computer-based and managerial: e-commerce digital marketing strategies, information security management, and the organization of digital businesses, spanning the financing of startups to the digital transformation of established businesses, the management of information systems and interaction design.
In the third year of the course, students will have the possibility to work within a company in the digital sector, which allows them to put into practice their acquired skills and the opportunity to create a business project work. The students will also have the opportunity to participate in hackathons in which they will see the real-life financing of the best ideas, which will then be accelerated in the business incubator of H-FARM.
The programme will be characterized by a limited number of traditional academic lessons, with a strong focus on interactions with companies through seminars and projects.
The course doesn’t solely focus on the technical skills that are on the frontier of digital management, but also pays particular attention to the students’ transversal skills, which represent an important factor for their professional future. Throughout the three-year course, students will learn to recognize their personal skill set and can develop their own learning agenda, in order to acquire knowledge with a proactive spirit, as well as autonomy, good judgement, empathy, communication and negotiation skills, leadership – all of which will allow the student to decipher the needs of a business and concretely put in to practice their technical kowledge in developing innovative entrepreneurial projects.
Costs and scholarships
The enrolment fee and course tuition is 7,500 euros yearly.
There are available scholarships and subsidies that will be awarded based on income or by merit to students whose family economic situation (attested by the ISEE certificate for educational funding) is equivalent to less than 30,000 euros yearly and can, thus, be applicable for the subsidies provided by the “Student Act” (Legge 232/2016) and by specific regional and University subsidies. Student can also apply to receive regional scholarships. Ca’ Foscari also offers the opportunity to receive student loans through partnerships with credit-lending institutions, which provide each student with personalized options for course payment.

There are also financing solutions offered by both Intesa Sanpaolo and BNL Gruppo BNP Paribas. In the second case (BNL), the financing allows for coverage of the entire tuition fee without any interest, with the possibility of repayment only upon graduation.
The Bachelor’s Degree course is limited to 90 available spaces.
To enrol in the course, there will be two admission periods, one in spring and one in the summer.
Each session is made up of the entrance exam and pre-enrolment, which can be done in any order (you can take the entrance exam before or after pre-enrolment).
